Boring Second Life
Running after a concept to be inspired by Marilyn Monroe: The Complete Last Sitting, it was a pure art made by second life only, and meant to show the art only to second life as well. I tried to use the lighting tool -which they call environmental setting- to create some cool lightings on some 3D avatars, well .. those avatars are supposed to show the hidden marilyn monroe in them. To make an art from SL to SL only was a new experience to me. I failed there to find a good partner as every one has, and I failed to be the guy who has a virtual life, I always open sl to make art using it, or to chat with my friends while I am goofing in photoshop/painter/artrage.

But when I tried to go out, and have fun, I found my self very lonely there.. no body talks, no body has time to spend with you.. everyone is busy in something. may be only "Kirsty Oherlihy" who decided to visit me at house and when she heard my voice, she never said hi again ~lol, I kept stalking her all the night any way. well some friends talked at least. I have spent time with liess, Babii, and oh well, any way never mind .. lol seems after bibi book, kimba, and all, it is hard to find good friends to go out with in sl.

I like how Nov is going, it is not running fast as how Oct was.
I made my first journal in the best of the month in photo manipulation. The Journal got a good visit, and I it is now on deviantART main page. I am happy because of 2 reasons, 1)the community should give some more attention to photo manipulation. 2)As well I felt I am networked and loved by many of them great deviants photo manipulators!
That said I would add I started from now to work on November article. And I am thinking of another article that could provide some real cool help for photo manipulators as well.

I so wish to have one of my art pieces featured in a daily deviation.
I wish also to have a subscription some how with out a need to pay money. May be I should work hard in second life to get the them.
I will have a watch list I guess some time.



God's Art

In my flickr, I have got an invitation to participate in one of Log Lady's art shows. Log Lady in Second Life (SL)is well known for her strange shows ideas, her show normally is happening by inviting a lot of second life photographers ( which is a term for the digital art they made based on second life rendered scenes ) to make an art piece for the show subject. One of her shows was about "freaks" and asked artists to show an ugly avatar, or human form in their arts, questioning the stream media if it is acceptable sometimes to show ugly faces in art. I was not a big fan of that idea at these days, because to me, art is about seeing the beauty of everything, and it is also about finding the beauty in what others didn't find, and started to call it "ugly".

Her new idea this time was about "God's Art", and I think it is a brave idea, oh no it is not a religious art, and she didn't say anything about her relation to any religion. She just asked everyone to tell what does he think of god, does god exist? or not? every one is invited to show his own private theory. She wrote: "And I want to underline that a different thought about Religion is not offensive, but only personal. And we have to respect all different points of view. Cause world is various, and this show wants to link all this concepts together."

Perhaps some of you has figured out that I am visiting a lot of art works these days, and I try to study, and give a useful feedback, and make inspired art pieces of some of the great artists in this community. And I think for this show, I will get inspired by one of deviantART photo manipulation artists, that would be ~roadioarts from Philippines.

Since I visited his gallery, I decided to get inspired by his
He has more works than one can comment them all, and fav all, also I still don't have a subscription in deviantART. And I am in some way or another in need to show thumbnails here. But I fall in love with 2 of his art pieces that I want to try making something close to it, but with a total different concept. I am speaking about his "The Existence 2" and "The Manipulated", please feel free to check his gallery and locate them.

For "The Existence 2", he listed the photos he has use, and I plan to use them as well, but I will make a different tree, I will use the tree of love that I made in Zbrush and rendered in second life. And it meant to reflect the concept of this poem: Where is God by Al Rumi [link]

It is quite interesting for me to travel in deviantART, and try to mix the inspiration art of real life, with the art of second life, to bring both worlds close to each others. Please wish me luck.

The painter I was studying lately was Neo-Innov, Please visit him
What I like about neo, that he is doing most of his art in traditional medium, and he developed his own unique style which is organic, and breaking the geometrical feels.

I have taken the challenge to learn how to do a closer style to him by digital medium, and I have chosen the coral painter for digital painting, and photoshop to prepare the background.

In world I have asked Sura Absimo to model for me, she has sit in same position as the original model he painted, and I snapped her a picture and started to paint. I did that too with a noob called Frolic but I wasn't very fan of the result. I think if I am wise, the next step would be like that: I paint a portrait with his style but by my own pose and I let my self add to his style my own way.
